Meghan and I have been friends since elementary school. I remember going to her house all the time as kids. We were basically siblings. Especially since all of our names started with an M (Michael, Meghan, Miranda and Matthew). We even started calling each other “cousin” because we might as well have been related.

When Meghan contacted me about photographing her wedding I was SO EXCITED. I couldn’t wait to be a part of her wonderful day and get to share in yet another life event together. Meghan and Cory’s wedding day was the first time I had ever met Cory, but the way he interacted with Meghan spoke volumes. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her the ENTIRE day.

We started the day off with a father/daughter first look which brought many to tears. We then took bridesmaid and groomsmen photos which is always fun! We went right into the ceremony after that and BOY was it a beautiful ceremony. The pastor had actually married Meghan’s parents years ago and was getting to continue that amazing tradition.

After the ceremony we took family, bridal party, and couple photos while everyone else learned how to line dance. Yes, you read that correctly LINE DANCE. They had an instructor teaching all of the guests how to line dance during their cocktail hour, and I personally thought it was GENIUS.

Meghan and Cory made their grand entrance, and started their first dance. I’ve hardly ever seen two people have such a good time during their first dance… (see their laughing photo below). After dinner we snuck them away for some AMAZING field photos that I am IN LOVE WITH. We then returned for a speech from the father of the bride and then a father/daughter dance. Which was EXCELENTLY choreographed I must say. And then the absolute sweetest mother/son dance. After that it was time to cut the cake and cut a rug.

Once the reception was over Cory and Meghan did a glow stick exit and boy was it one for the books. Before they got into the car Meghan grabbed some hats that said bride and groom and they shared a kiss that is now one of my all time favorite exit shots of all time! They drove away after sharing some goodbyes and headed to their honeymoon.

I wish them every happiness and I hope they love their photos! Enjoy some highlights below and comment your favorite one!
